"We contacted Alison Tinlin of Plans and Presents to organise our wedding. We live in Ireland and wanted to get married in Glasgow.
We first got in touch with her at the start of Sept and we wanted to get married before xmas, but thought that this was asking alot esp when we lived in a different country.
We have now been married for 4 weeks and its not xmas yet!
She was excellent. We organised the entire thing through email.
We had the complication of not owning a credit card and she went through every other available option for us to make the payments to the suppliers until we found the one to suit us.
We also were up against the postal strike which created even more hiccups.
But Alison was great and took everything in her stride and took all the pressure off us and on to herself, and so made the whole organisation of our big day as stress free as possible. She came up with loads of suggestions that had not even crossed our minds.
We felt like she was always there for us through the entire planning process, just an email or phone call away at any time.
She had everything organised down to the very finest of detail and was there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly and according to plan.
She provided us with the very best of suppliers and chose an excellent venue for our reception where we were treated like royalty and really made a great end to a fanastic day.
